Picture Taking at the Chapel
Posted on Oct 18th, 2022
Just a reminder: The Chapel is for the use of Santa Maria residents only. If you intend to use the property for pictures, please schedule with the HOA. Please do not give permission to people and groups who do not live here to use the area.
Again this weekend, we had a very large school group (as many as 75 plus on the property for hours) who did not live here and who initially refused to leave. At the same time we had 4 residents who were trying to take pictures but couldn’t because of the amount of people who were also waiting for a party bus to arrive.
As much as we hate to do it, If the problem continues when more schools have Homecoming or other dances or even Holiday picture events, we may be forced to ask for assistance from the Sheriff as confronting trespassers can be unsafe. We simply cannot allow the congestion and disruption. We really appreciate your understanding.
