- Santa Maria Property Owners' Association: Annual Meeting is at BREC Clubhouse, Wednesday, July 11, 2012. 6:00 pm to 8:30pm. Agenda will include year in review, stop signs, landscape projects, landscape contract, budget, elections, open forum for questions/discussions, etc.
- Nominations-There are 3 positions coming open on the SMPOA board this year: a 3 year term, a 2 year term and a 1 year term. If you are interested in serving our community on the Board, please contact Ellie Perret at elliebp@cox.net. Last year, we asked for a short bio from those willing to serve. We think this helped our residents to learn more about their neighbor’s interest and willingness to serve. We will be asking for a short bio again this year. To be able to serve, you must own a lot in Santa Maria ( the Highlands residents are not eligible) and have paid your 2012 SMPOA dues. Because the board would like to provide a list of residents who are willing to serve with the mailout announcing the Annual meeting, please let us know your intention to run for a position on the Board by May 20.
