There are 4 positions coming open on the SMPOA board this year: a 3 year term, a 2 year term and two 1 year terms.  If you are interested in serving our community on the Board, please contact Ellie Perret at elliebp@cox.net. With the election, the person receiving the most votes gets the 3 year term, the next gets the two year term and the next two get the one year terms.  Last year, we asked for a short bio from those willing to serve.  We think this helped our residents to learn more about their neighbor's interest and willingness to serve.  We will be asking for a short bio again this year.  To be able to serve, you must own a lot in Santa Maria (the Highlands residents are not eligible) and have paid your 2017 SMPOA dues.  Because the board would like to provide a list of residents who are willing to serve with the mailout announcing the Annual meeting, please let us know your intention to run for a position on the Board by June 1 and provide a short bio.

 

The annual meeting will be Wednesday, July 19 at 6:30 at the BREC clubhouse.
