Approval of February minutes
Financial Update given
Homeowner Issues:  23 unpaid dues thru February; few violations; gas light on brick wall at Charlestown has been repaired; Area in front of walls to be maintained by lawn company as part of contract.
Street light issue has been resolved... Entergy provided documentation showing Charlie Cole had approved with Gulf States (now Entergy) several years ago for charge of street lights.  A recent Audit showed not being done; so as of November 2014, the cost is being passed onto homeowners via Entergy bills.
Old Business:
a. Sample survey for new projects was discussed and being drafted.  Will be sent via email with link to respond and will host on SM website.
b. Landscaping around the large generator on Acadian Shores has been completed.
c.  Work is being done on pumps at trestle site.  New pumps will not be installed until May.  There is presently a generator and 2 temporary pumps on site.
New Business:
a.  Bids are being let on tree trimming along the parkway for the fall.
b.  Crawfish Boil plans are being finalized.  Set for May 2nd, 1-4 pm at Parkside by tennis courts.  There will be clowns for face painting and balloons, train and DJ, but no inflatable.  Santa Maria residents only will need to sign in and receive wristband.  No wristband No food. 
c.  Parish wide restriction permits building construction from sunrise to sundown Monday through Saturday... No Sunday constructions.
d.  Board Meetings are the 3rd Monday of each month at Clubhouse unless otherwise notified.  If you would like to present something to Board,  you will need to pre arrange to have on agenda. Next board meeting April 16 at 6 pm.  The Annual SMPOA meeting has been set for Wednesday, July 22nd at the Clubhouse 6-8 pm.
