Posted on Feb 22nd, 2015
I. No Visitors
II. Approval of minutes from January Meeting - only discussions (No quorum present)
III. Financial Update including liens, fines, etc.
The Treasurer presented the budget for 2015, with only a few changes from 2014. Approved
IV. Homeowners Issues: 55 residents have unpaid dues going into February
A few violations are past 30 days and will begin being fined
V. Webmaster: A few questions have been asked and answered for residents.
Since most of the capital improvement projects have been completed since last survey, discussed having a new survey on website for residents to put forth new ideas as to what they would like to see implemented in SM.
VI. Old Business: Boat Launch on Southern Hills is for the use of Santa Maria residents, however surrounding residents in the area of the launch have been continually bothered by loud parties late into the night, trash, thief of items from homeowners, and other unwanted activities.
Since installing a gate at the boat ramp would be very costly, it was voted to install a security lamp which would be focused toward the ramp from dusk to dawn. Security patrols will regularly check the site and neighbors are encouraged to call the Sheriff's Office when they see violations.
VII. New Business:
a. Large Generator located on Arcadian Shores Avenue this past year is unsightly for neighbors in the round-a-bout. Have contracted with Massengale's to remedy the situation. They will add to existing plantings and replace the town sod areas with gravel.. Plans have been sent to residents involved for their approval.
b. Crawfish Boil Date has been scheduled for May 2nd.
Adjournment.
