- Nominations-There are 3 positions coming open on the SMPOA board this year: a 3 year term, a 2 year term and a 1 year term. If you are interested in serving our community on the Board, please contact Ellie Perret at elliebp@cox.net. Last year, we asked for a short bio from those willing to serve. We think this helped our residents to learn more about their neighbor’s interest and willingness to serve. We will be asking for a short bio again this year. To be able to serve, you must own a lot in Santa Maria ( the Highlands residents are not eligible) and have paid your 2012 SMPOA dues. Because the board would like to provide a list of residents who are willing to serve with the mailout announcing the Annual meeting, please let us know your intention to run for a position on the Board by May 20. "The SMPOA board would like to thank Ashley Munn for keeping the communication board at the entrance updated for the past two years. She has done a great job and we appreciate her. We now need another resident to volunteer. If you are able to be the communication board chairperson, please contact us."

For the convenience of our residents, we have added a Lost and Found page to the websites Residents Only section. If you have an animal or article that his been lost or found, please send a note to info@smpoabr.com and we will post it on the site. |

| Welcoming Committe Volunteer Needed |

Kelly Blouin Frank has been a member of our Welcoming Committee for several years, visiting new neighbors in the Highlands. She is not able to continue on the committee so we need a volunteer--preferably, someone who lives in the Highlands. Please see ANNOUNCEMENTS page for contact details if you would like to volunteer.
